Anyone who is not born again lives apart from God – separated by sin, and is spiritually dead. To be born again is to be born from above, that is born of God, by the Spirit of God (John 3:3). It is a gracious act of God which enables us to be transformed spiritually and to be imparted with eternal life. The Bible tells us that one who is born again becomes a “new creature” (2 Corinthians 5:17). That is to have a new nature, to cease to be conformed to the things of this world and be transformed in the inner being, by the renewal of your mind through belief in Jesus Christ as Saviour.
